Belligerent ‘Lime-A-Rita Drinker’ Goes on Racist Tirade on L Train, So Passengers Kick Him Off
A belligerent man, who’s been dubbed the “Lime-A-Rita drinker” for drinking the Bud Light drink on an L train while shouting out racial slurs, prompted subway passengers to band together and toss him off of the Brooklyn-bound train. On Saturday at 2 p.m., the obnoxious man, who bragged that he was a graduate of NYU Law School, yelled out the n-word several times on an L train. His abusive words also prompted one disgusted woman to throw a cup of soup at him.
The Lime-A-Rita drinker’s racist antics were caught on camera by Joshua R. Pyne. The footage revealed the belligerent man’s racist tirade, saying: “I talk sh*t because I know I can, because I’m a lawyer. I went to NYU law. F**k you!” That’s when several straphangers confronted the man and eventually pushed him onto the platform at Bedford Avenue.
According to Pyne, “the Lime-A-Rita drinker had a ‘spat about personal space’ with a group of young black men. The footage follows his “stupid n-word” racist remarks at the group, who departed at 1st Avenue. Watch how the passengers banded together…
